I recommend publication order for a first read. It introduces Odd, Stormy, Pico Mundo, and the supernatural rules of the series before adding the prequel material.
The series is complete. Saint Odd brings Odd’s main story to its conclusion.

Odd Interlude is one continuous novella that was first released in three digital installments. It belongs between Odd Hours and Odd Apocalypse in both the publisher’s numbered series and the story chronology.
Odd Thomas Prequel Short Fiction
You Are Destined to Be Together Forever returns to Odd and Stormy’s teenage years. The story is also included in print editions of Saint Odd, so check your copy before buying it separately.
Odd Thomas Graphic Novels
The graphic novels are prequels to Odd Thomas, but I would still read the first prose novel before them. It gives Odd and Stormy the introduction that shaped the rest of the series.

Odd Passenger, a four-part promotional web series, takes place between Brother Odd and Odd Hours. It is optional and is not needed to follow the novels.
Odd Thomas Book-to-Screen Adaptations
Odd Thomas was adapted as a feature film written and directed by Stephen Sommers. The film began its international release in 2013 and reached U.S. theaters in 2014. Anton Yelchin plays Odd, Addison Timlin plays Stormy, and Willem Dafoe plays Chief Wyatt Porter.
The movie adapts the first novel only. It keeps the central Pico Mundo mystery and the heart of Odd and Stormy’s relationship, but it condenses Odd’s family history and reduces parts of the supporting cast. The film stands alone and does not continue through the remaining books.
Koontz considered the adaptation faithful to the characters and themes that mattered most, even though much of the novel had to be shortened or removed.
About Odd Thomas
Odd Thomas works as a short-order cook in the desert town of Pico Mundo, California. He can see the spirits of people who have died, although they cannot speak to him. When a spirit needs justice or help moving on, Odd tries to understand what it wants.
His other strange abilities include psychic magnetism, which can guide him toward a person or place he needs to find, and the ability to see bodachs. These shadowy creatures gather where violence and death are approaching.
Dean Koontz balances the series’ supernatural danger and dark subject matter with Odd’s humor, compassion, and hopeful outlook. Saint Odd provides a definitive ending to his journey.
