DCeased Reading Order | 2 Ways to Read the DCeased Comics

The DCeased comics have taken the world by storm, and for good reason. If you’re looking for the DCeased reading order, we’ve got you covered.

The storyline is intense, dark, and full of surprises. Here is our recommended reading order for the DCeased comics!

What are the DCeased Comics All About?

DCeased is a comic book mini-series that was published by DC Comics. It is composed of six issues that were published from May 2019 to October 2019. It is written by Tom Taylor, along with a creative team that includes Trevor Hairsine as penciler and Stefano Guadiano as an inker.

The story brings forward some of your favorite DC superheroes and poses the question: What would they do during a zombie apocalypse? Because that is exactly what ensues.

The story is set on an alternate Earth where a corrupted Anti-Life Equation has infected all Earth’s inhabitants with a zombie-like virus. Lois Lane is the narrator and explains how the events occurred over several weeks.

The story begins with Cyborg being kidnapped by DeSaad on Apokolips. DeSaad has one-half of the Anti-Life Equation and Darkseid intends to combine it with the other half he already possesses. However, during the merge it is corrupted and infects Darkseid.

While DeSaad tried to stop the spread of the virus by sending Cyborg back to Earth, Darkseid obliterates the planet.

When Cyborg’s systems come back online in Metropolis, the virus immediately jumps onto the internet. The infection is instant as it transmits from the screens of corrupted devices and hundreds of millions of people are infected.

Thus, our beloved DC heroes and villians are caught up in the chaos of this virus in its rampage.
