I think I speak truthfully when I say that most fantasy readers want wide, sweeping epics that carry you off into another land filled with magic and intrigue for days or even weeks on end. But every now and again, it’s nice to sit down with a few fantasy short stories and read a riveting tale from start to finish in less than an hour.
You know what I’m talking about.
The lunch break read, the before dinner read, the just a quick book before bed read.
