T.L. Branson is the founder of the YA Fantasy Addicts Facebook group and a lifelong series-binger who still remembers the exact moment reading “clicked”—picking up The Thousand Orcs by R. A. Salvatore back in 2004. He reads across Fantasy, Young Adult, Romance, and Thrillers.

He’s also an author, with four published books in the Soul Stones series—and when it comes to pure storytelling craft, he’ll happily tip the crown to George Lucas and J. K. Rowling.

  • Crescent City Series Order: All Books & ACOTAR Crossover

The Crescent City series order is simple: read the three published books in publication order, beginning with House of Earth and Blood. Sarah J. Maas has confirmed that a fourth book is planned, but it does not have an official title or release date. The series follows half-human, half-Fae Bryce Quinlan through the modern fantasy…

  • A Court of Thorns and Roses Book Series Order | All ACOTAR Books

The A Court of Thorns and Roses book series order follows publication order, beginning with A Court of Thorns and Roses. Sarah J. Maas’s fantasy-romance series, usually shortened to ACOTAR, has five published books, including the novella A Court of Frost and Starlight. Books 6 and 7 are scheduled for 2026 and 2027. Feyre Archeron…

  • Caraval Series in Order + Once Upon a Broken Heart

The Caraval Series in Order can look more complicated than it first appears. Stephanie Garber’s fantasy world includes the original novels, an illustrated holiday story, collector’s editions with bonus material, and a separate series that follows one of Caraval’s most important characters. Some of these books continue the larger story, while others are optional extras…

  • The Naturals Series in Order: All 6 Books by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

The Naturals Series in Order includes five full-length novels and the novella Twelve. For the simplest reading order, start with The Naturals and continue through Killer Instinct, All In, Bad Blood, and Dangerous Impulses before finishing with Twelve. Publication order places Twelve before Dangerous Impulses, but I recommend saving the novella for last on a…

  • Riley Sager Books in Order: All Novels + Todd Ritter Books

The Riley Sager books in order are straightforward: all ten thrillers under that name are standalone novels, beginning with Final Girls in 2017 and continuing with the forthcoming The Unknown in 2026. You can start anywhere, but I recommend publication order if you expect to read them all because Sager slips small references to earlier…

  • Kate Burkholder Series in Order: All Books & Short Stories

If you’re looking for Kate Burkholder series in order, Sworn to Silence is the first book. From there, I recommend following Linda Castillo’s Amish-country mystery series in publication order. Each murder investigation reaches a resolution, but Kate’s relationships, family history, and life in Painters Mill continue across the books. The short stories are optional, but…

  • Elvis Cole & Joe Pike Books in Order: Complete Series Guide

The Elvis Cole books in order begin with The Monkey’s Raincoat and follow Los Angeles private investigator Elvis Cole and his partner, Joe Pike. Robert Crais built the series around two very different men. Elvis is talkative, funny, and openly sentimental, while Pike is reserved, disciplined, and dangerous when a case turns violent. There are…

  • Charlie Parker Books in Order: Publication vs. Chronological

If you’re looking for the Charlie Parker books in order, publication order is the best choice for a first read. John Connolly gives each novel its own case, but Parker’s personal history, his relationships with Angel and Louis, and the supernatural conflict surrounding him all build from book to book. This guide covers both publication…

  • Andy Weir Books in Order: The Martian, Project Hail Mary & More

If you’re like me, you’ve just finished watching Project Hail Mary and then you realized the same author who wrote it also wrote The Martian. That’s led you to go looking for Andy Weir books in order, wondering if there are more science fiction epics for you to fall into. Weir’s stories work because they…

  • Robert B. Parker Books in Order: Spenser & Complete List

Looking for Robert B. Parker books in order? Parker’s bibliography is bigger than just Spenser, though that’s the series most readers know first. He also created Jesse Stone, Sunny Randall, and the Virgil Cole and Everett Hitch Westerns, plus a few standalones, young adult books, and nonfiction titles. For Parker, it helps to think by…
